1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Feng Shui Tips ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. What the Site is

The Site publishes educational articles about feng shui and provides free browser-based calculators and planners. The Site is not a consultancy, and nothing on it constitutes professional advice of any kind.

3. No professional advice

Feng shui content on the Site is for general information and education. It is not and must not be relied on as:

  • medical, psychological or mental-health advice;
  • legal advice;
  • financial or investment advice;
  • structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing or engineering advice;
  • advice on the safety of any electrical, gas or structural work in your home.

Where a feng shui suggestion involves work on your property, consult a qualified professional and comply with local building regulations. Where a suggestion affects your health, consult a doctor. A feng shui arrangement is never a substitute for either.

4. Your use of the tools

Our tools run entirely in your browser. You may use them freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, resell or redistribute them as a service, nor use them to build a competing commercial product without our written permission.

Tool outputs are calculated from information you supply and from fixed classical formulas. They do not constitute a reading of your home, and you are responsible for any decision you take based on them.

5. Intellectual property

The content of the Site — articles, images, graphics, code, tools, layout and the "Feng Shui Tips" name and branding — is owned by Feng Shui Tips or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may quote short extracts (up to 100 words) with clear attribution and a link to the original page, for non-commercial purposes such as a review, a blog post or academic work. You may not reproduce whole articles, bulk-copy the site, or republish substantial parts without written permission.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including game and tool sites listed in our footer. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, privacy practices or availability. Following a third-party link is at your own risk.

7. Advertising

The Site displays third-party advertising. We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for claims made by advertisers. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable mention in any guide or review.

8. Warranties and liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any information will be complete or current. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity arising from your use of the Site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; if that applies to you, the relevant exclusion does not operate.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its servers; interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation; scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others; upload or transmit malicious code; impersonate us or misrepresent your affiliation; or use the Site for anything unlawful.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

12. Contact
